Our school reopening is around the corner! We are so excited to welcome our students and teachers back to the classroom with increased health and safety measures

Our Return Together plan gives families two learning options for their students:

Return to In-Person/Concurrent Learning where students will attend school in-person two (2) days each week and engage in distance learning the other three (3) days each week. Or…

Students can Remain in Distance Learning where they will continue engaging in distance learning five days each week.

As part of our efforts to reopen, we are asking families to decide how they want their students to participate for the rest of the academic year.

While we encourage all students to return to in-person learning, we recognize that this option might not work for some students or their families right now. This is why families have the option to return to a combination of in-person and distance learning, or remain in full distance learning for the remainder of this school year.

Every family should have received a survey link in their email to let us know if they prefer distance learning or in-person instruction.

To fill out the form, you will need your student’s ID number number. You can find the ID number on their ID card. If you cannot find their ID card, you can go to https://campus.scusd.edu/campus/portal/sacramento_city.jsp then click on “campus student” button and login with the student’s email account to get the student ID.

The link to the survey is k12-schedule.com/sac-city

If you have not already submitted forms for all of your students, please take the time to fill this out by March 17.

We need your response to this form so we can plan student cohorts that will engage in in-person learning on campus. It takes a lot of careful planning to organize students into their preferred learning model, and we really appreciate you taking the time to let us know what works best for you.

Visit Learn.scusd.edu  our Student Learning Options webpage to learn more about the student learning options for Spring 2021. These resources provide more information about the two learning models we discussed, and answers important questions you might have about what these models will look like.

We appreciate your feedback on the survey and can’t wait to see our students back on our campuses very soon!
